PLAYOFF SEASON BABY

Both the NWHL and CWHL have their playoffs this weekend. I think the NCAA still has theirs going on but RPI was booted so I'm no longer interested for now. All game times are in Eastern time unless otherwise specified. 

NWHL: All the games are streamed on twitter, go to the nwhl twitter page at puck drop time and they post it. They play single elimination games to move on. The Isobel Cup Final will be either March 16 or 17 at the top seeded team's home rink.  

CTW @ MET - Thursday, 3/7/19 at 7pm at the Barnabas Health Hockey House, Newark, NJ. The Riveters beat Buffalo in a shootout on Sunday, which is quite the upset. It gave them the #4 spot and got them home ice advantage in the play-in game of #5 vs #4. Whoever wins this game will fly to Minnesota on Sunday. 

BOS @ BUF - Saturday, 3/9/19 at 7:30pm at the Harbor Center, Buffalo, NY. Boston lost their game against the Whitecaps on Saturday, putting them in the third place spot. They will travel to Buffalo. Whoever wins this game will be in the Isobel Cup Final. 

(Update!) Riveters @ MIN - Sunday, 3/10/19 at 1:30central/2:30eastern at TRIA Rink, Saint Paul, MN. Whoever wins the CTWvMET game will play this game against the #1 Whitecaps, who won the regular season. Whoever wins this game will be in the Isobel Cup Final

CWHL: They play best of three to get to the Clarkson Cup Final, which is a single elimination game. It will be Sunday, March 24th at 12PM EST in Toronto, ON. This game will be streamed. 

MAR @ MTL - Friday, March 8 at 7:30PM at Place Bell in Montreal (stream here), QC, Saturday, March 9 at 6:00PM at Complexe sportif Bell in Montreal, QC (Stream here), Sunday, March 10 at 1:30 at Complexe sportif Bell in Montreal, QC (stream here). This is the #3 v #2 game. The winner of this series will advance to the Clarkson Cup Final. 

TOR @ CGY - All games played at Winsport Arena A in Calgary, AB. Friday, March 8 at 8:00PM Central/10:00PM Eastern (stream here), March 9 at 6:45PM Central/8:45PM Eastern (stream here), March 10 at 12:00PM Central/2PM Eastern (stream here). This is the #4 v #1 game. The winner of this series will advance to the Clarkson Cup Final.

you should! do it for me because I can't go to ANY of the games. Unless something really wild happens with the final. Honestly if the final is within a three hour drive I'M GOING NO MATTER WHAT

the fanciest ice cream place opens back up on saturday too. and captain marvel is out. i like. don't know what to do with so many things i'm interested in. i'm not allowed to be interested in three things, this is too much. i only have very feeble brainmeats at this time of year.

oh dang that's so much. I'm so far out from MCU now that I didn't even realize Captain Marvel was coming out. Ugh too busy anyway. there's so much shit going on.

Yeah I'm pretty MCU-uninvolved.

The movie will probably be out a while, though, so I might wait and see if Annie wants to go, I know she's more into MCU than me. (She's watched the TV ones. I didn't even try!)

thats a good idea! Jade wanted me to see the spiderman movie with her, I think she thought I was really interested? I don't know. We haven't gone, but that's also because our schedules haven't been matching up. I feel a little bad about that because I probably could have been nicer about saying I wasn't interested :|
