 Today's to do is very short

hardware store
ice skating

and probably grocery store but I don't feel like it since i don't know what I'm making for food this week. I haven't had much of an appetite again so I think I'm going with taco stuff, which I always love. I'll have to figure something out for lunch too. Maybe cornbread? 

so that's on the list to do. I'll head to the hardware store in about an hour so I can really start figuring out this laser scarecrow.

ugh i need to do grocery shopping which means i need to meal plan and i'm burnt out. i made the mistake of doing all the meal planning for several weeks there, which means i blew all my cravings and now i just... don't want to make anything.

actually ironically enough i'm kind of craving a roast chicken and since i don't have any from the farm i can't bring myself to go buy a fuckin' factory chicken raised in confinement and eviscerated by oppressed refugees. i can't do it! i can't. but it would be so tasty. but i can't.

(I should have figured out where I could get one from Stonecrop when I was in Rochester, they're alums of Homestead before it became Laughing Earth so I know they use the methods I'm used to.) (Oh bah I looked them up and they're already sold out of chickens for the winter! Never mind.) (This takes a lot of planning y'all.)

"Laser Scarecrow" sounds way more badass than I suspect it really is. Just know, it sounds badass as hell.

Yeah, this is where I'm super glad I don't mind eating the same thing for a week in a row because that's my meal planning for the week. Taco stuff all week. Same thing. It's just so delicious. Maybe I'll get really wild and buy a citrus to squeeze on top like some kind of fancy person.

Oh my god one of our neighbors fire alarms is beeping battery low inconsistently and I just noticed holy shit that's going to drive me nuts

ANYWAY

I forgot to take the meat out of the freezer yesterday and if it's anything like last week, it will resist defrosting in water so I'm making food tomorrow night. And maybe cornbread today.

Meal planning sucks and it's very annoying. Just buy the chicken. It's great to give money to local farmers but at some point, you just gotta say, I need to eat this.

I say laser scarecrow as much as possible because it does sound cool
