Feb. 6th, 2019 08:07 pmI feel like I'm posting a lot.
Oh well, you just get to hear all my unfiltered thoughts. Especially during the day when I'm bored at work.
Anyway.
I started driving home in the rain and about halfway I noticed that my antenae on my truck was white and it turns out it had iced up and so was my entire truck just about so I abandoned my plan to make a stop and went right home. I did get more things done here at home though: I started gathering seeds for my exchanges that I'm doing, I printed label and packed an ebay sale, and I did a little bit of company sidejob. I also worked out and remembered why I hate running and especially hate treadmills. But cardio is good even though I hate it.
They make me dizzy when I get off. Weird and annoying but I got my stretching done.
Now I'm laying in bed, listening to the rain.

Date: 2019-02-07 01:49 pm (UTC)(We have freezing drizzle, it's just below freezing and there is fog, and while the street looks clear out my window people are actually driving slower. So I'm glad I don't have to go out there!)
The traction spikes are these things, sold as "Icers". Roughly a studded tire sandal. And while one can walk over concrete with them (unlike the Kahtoola equivalent, ideal for "apparently the other users of this multi-use pathway are penguins" conditions), they work best on big heavy boots which is a discouragement from universal use.
