days off approaching

my parents are going away this weekend, I more or less forced them to. they have not actually decided on: what days they are going, where they are going, what they are doing, where they are staying, if they are picking up amish jams and jellies for sale

it's astounding how bad they are at this.

I am going away next weekend. I have plans to meet up with old friends, camp, lay around and craft, read books and do not much. I'm looking forward to it.

they are so out of practice. They are planning to go to my cousin's kid's birthday party and didn't double check the day and they had the wrong day. goofy stuff!

I wouldn't even mind if it rained!

Wow. Yeah, no. My mother has both her hardcopy day planner and her phone calendar that is also linked to her iPad mini.

Ok, sure, a little rain. But camping in a downpour is less than entirely fun.
