When I woke up yesterday morning, there was a coyote on the mossy hill near the back of the house. It has been 24 hours and as far as we can tell, it hasn't left at all other than to retreat into the woods line occasionally. It does run away if you wave something at it, and it really runs away if I'm putting laundry out to dry. It's pretty sizeable, not quite German Shepard, but maybe in the 75-90lb range.

It has spent most of that time sleeping although it does a good bunch of itching since it's got a ton of mange. F and I will call fish and wildlife today because we're confused. It does have some kind of mobility problem when turning around to lay down but not super noticeable when running away into the woods. But it keeps coming back, I guess the moss is really comfy. It was still there around 7pm last night when I went out and grabbed my laundry so we don't think it's eating anything and we aren't going to feed it.

Shrugs. I have no idea

ETA: it up and left around 11am on it's own

My stomach is feeling much better, I'm feeling much restored and more like a real person. I've got enough ambition to make food (yogurt and granola, possibly chili tonight) and I did a bunch of weaving and spinning in the past few days.

Work is slowly giving me things to do although some of them are on Thursday, when I'm taking off to help with the weavers guild show and sale setup. I'm very excited about that.
