We forgot to plastic the windows this winter because it's been so warm. *facepalm* so that's what I'm doing this afternoon

I was wondering why we went through so much propane this month. It's because all the windows leak air so bad. I'm running out to buy more kits in a second and the WHOLE HOUSE will be plastic'd.

Several years ago I thought my airtight wood stove (with which we heat the house) was not working correctly. I cleaned it, I even replaced the fire brick. Nothing. Then we replaced the ancient single pane aluminum frame windows with double pane new windows. Nothing wrong with the stove.

We plastic'd the windows last year and we're hoping to start replacing them soon enough. I just completely forgot that putting plastic on the windows was a thing until F said something. I plum forgot about it.
