Finally tested not-positive on the covid test this morning, I was faintly positive on tuesday. I feel back to normal with some post-nasal drip that could be left over or it could be seasonal, can't really tell. Chest now feels fine and I've done some gentle heart rate increasing this week.

I am going to shear tomorrow, however I rescheduled my solo shearing of terribly behaved sheep to next week and J called and asked if I wanted to do some sheep with him tomorrow. I will, because it's better to do a few and he can pick up the rest if I can't do many, than to deal with some really difficult sheep by myself. I'll take it easy, promise.

I had to grab more covid tests this morning and just bought more food. I'm real annoyed that I haven't been able to make food I normally would, like granola and yogurt and cookies and have been forced to buy them since I haven't been willing to linger in the kitchen for long to make those more complicated things. Oatmeal and pasta, fine. But everything else takes more time. So I'm planning a baking day on sunday. Potential plans depending on how wild I want to get: lemon bars, boston cream pie, extra batch of pastry cream or ice cream, bread, granola, yogurt.

The weather has been absolutely glorious here, sunny, between 65 and 70F, sometimes with a little breeze, 50F at night. Wonderful weather. I've been sitting out on the porch reading a lot, doing some light yard work too. I need to hose down some work traps later today.  My plant babies that I started near the beginning of April are finally all sprouting. I've got a mix of flowers, vegetables and dye plants. The chickpeas are up and I think some of the flax is finally up, although I might need to replant it. Now that there's a fence around the garden, the deer should leave it alone even if the fence isn't an 8 foot fence. I didn't plant any peas, which I'll hopefully do this weekend and hope that the weather doesn't get too hot too fast. I want to pick up a load of compost from a local farm and spread it on the garden before all the plants that need transplanting go out.

The house projects are piling up, so a hardware store run is looming. Gutters need cleaning out, screens need to be replaced, all sorts of things to be done.
