Feb. 12th, 2019 01:36 pm I left work an hour and a half ago because there was already an inch of snow and it's coming down fast. I'm glad I left when I did because people were already having issues on the road. Not sure where the plows were but I didn't see any.
At one intersection (it's a long light, the four lanes go separately), I was behind someone and we were on an uphill incline. I sat there and watched as it took them the entire light round to make it through the intersection because they were spinning the whole way. Other drivers just went around them. Granted, they were being as smart as they could about it and not going side to side but also consider this: snow tires.
So, I'm glad I left early and I had my four wheel drive on most of the way since it is mostly turns and uphill to get back here. I did watch a truck behind me take over two lanes as they were spinning out on a ramp.
So in conclusion: I'm home and not actually working much. Yay.
