 I've been kinda tired this week, figured it was from Monday when my brain decided 5 hours of sleep is acceptable.

woke up this morning with a sore throat. 

Ugh. 

Feels like a head cold to me, sore throat, ear pressure and tiredness.

I was supposed to drive to my parents but I don't feel like driving 4 hours right now, let alone later tonight so I'm going to push it back a weekend.

Excellent plan!

Rest, plenty of fluids, etc. really does reduce the area under the "feels bad vs time" graph a whole lot.

Plus while the weekend weather is supposed to be sunny and warm, today is supposed to be glop and tonight is supposed to be cold.

Paying attention to being tired and ready to go back to sleep is an excellent habit, because some time in your thirties it will keep you from really hurting yourself.

I know it's not good capitalism, but there is no good capitalism so you're fine.
