 Our internet is out so my normal goofing around on the internet didnt happen as much. Apparently there are no appointments to fix it until sunday. Jade is super mad. I don't give a shit tbh. I made pork chops in the instant pot (from mostly frozen) that turned out well and a rice/dal accident combo because I used split lentils instead of the split mung beans. I got confused somehow but it turned out decent. Dumped some bbq sauce on. Odd combo but tasty. I also made pumpkin pies. 

I grew a new variety this year called pie-pita. It is both a hulless seed variety and supposedly decent for pies. I picked three already and roasted the seeds (so good! I'm supposed to save some for my parents to try. Not sure if they will last another day) and then roasted the halves and put them into my favorite pie recipe, which is crustless. I'll need to post that at some point because it is gr9. 

Busy work day tomorrow and then heading to pa either tomorrow afternoon or early friday morning, haven't decided yet. Busy weekend ahead

That sounds like a really excellent pumpkin variety, at least if the pies turned out.

They suggested a new modem so Jade took it in after work and it didn't fix the problem, stilk no appointment until Sunday. She is now spitting mad. I'm still unbothered.

The pies are hmmm. Tasty and good. But not as mind glowingly awesome as the one I made last year. Plus they are on the stringier side and there are some little bits in the pie, which I don't appreciate. I'm going to get a second opinion this weekend.

That sounds like it's an acceptable pie pumpkin and an excellent seed pumpkin, then. Agree about the little bits. It's supposed to be gloriously homogeneous, dammit.
