unicornduke I'm going to go bake something in a few minutes so I stop posting things (and also so I have something to take over to the farm tomorrow when I got to ripple) but I've been looking at schedules for hockey seasons and since the Connecticut Whale moved to Danbury, CT, I actually will go to more games than I did. The half hour closer cuts my total time by at least an hour, if not more due to lack of traffic in comparison to Stamford or Newark (Riveters). I put some games on my schedule and I'm pretty excited to be honest! I don't think I can make any hockey games, including NCAA until November due to my schedule conflicting in late september and then both local NCAA and CTW playing away games most of october.

but yeah, 2 hours and 15 minutes to a game arrived an hour early (I love watching warmups), 2ish hours for the game, and 2 hrs 15 minutes back puts me at about 7.5 hours total, which is really really good in comparison to 9 hours that it was last year. I did make it to one Riveters game, but it was a long day and a long drive back. the other advantage is that I don't need to take 87, which is so crowded down near NYC.
