New Year's "Resolutions"
Jan. 4th, 2021 08:57 amThey're more goals than resolutions. I dislike the idea of new year's resolutions mostly because the ones that are pushed by media/blogs/advertisers are 1. too vague and 2. terrible and designed to make you feel bad about yourself.
My goals for this year: Find a new place to live when our lease is up in August. It may be either a rental (more likely) or buying a place. I want it to be a house or duplex in a quieter area, possibly with a fenced yard but that's less important.
So for that to happen, I need to start looking for places in April. I need to build up a spreadsheet for searching and some criteria. Jade is on board because she knows how much I hate this apartment. We'll see if she's happy with what I find :P
I also need to sort a lot of the stuff I've got in my room and the apartment. I have an enormous amount of seed projects, some from this year and some from previous years that are sitting in bins or on shelves that just need to be done and dealt with. So everyday I will do at least one thing related to seed projects. My guess is that I will do more because that's how it goes.
I'll have less hobby time probably but that's how it goes.
