Despite the $350 I just spent on a new windshield, I'm still determined to do some fun things this winter.
I had originally planned to attend a farm conference and/or take a trip up to the Adirondack's but given that cost, these aren't happening.
So my fun stuff is mostly hockey and baking.
Hockey: Local college's women's hockey games are $5 and a fifteen minute drive. And so much fun! I bought tickets to the NWHL CTW vs BOS game at the end of December! They were $20 and there will be some cost of parking and tolls and the drive and such but honestly, I went to the Whale-Riveters game on 11/25 and oh my god was it good.
Baking: I'm working my way through the Bravetart book, which continues to be amazing. I think she's got hazelnut cookies or something that I need to try. I also want to make fig newtons again because omg so good.
