Plans for the next few days
Jan. 17th, 2019 11:14 amSo in the next three days I have a conference to go to and we've got two snow storms on the way.
I'm going to leave work a little early today, hit up the grocery store and get supplies because I'm making mac and cheese this weekend and no one is stopping me. Normally I do my shopping on saturdays but conference.
I want to make something with the fruit in my freezer. I don't like pies all that much so I suspect I'm going to make maybe some scones with cherries. Some cake with jam. Chocolate cake with cherries? That's black forest cake hmmmm. I might do that. I've got blueberries, strawberries, and three types of cherries in the freezer. I've also got some zucchini and some pumpkin puree. So many options! I better make sure I have enough eggs.
I suspect I'm not going to the conference Sunday because the storm is supposed to start Saturday afternoon and go until at least midday Sunday. We've already got a storm watch!
So staying in, cosy food.
I was planning to go skating on monday but that really depends on if the roads are clear. They probably will be by midday but the rink might not be open.
