 Fun fact: kiwiberries are similar to kiwifruit (same genus, although not species) and can be grown throughout the Northeastern US.

I seem to recall that kiwis were once known as "Chinese gooseberry" (which I could never understand) but if there's a berry size it makes a lot more sense!

Yeah, I thought it was really neat! The ones they are talking about here have smooth skin too, not fuzzy like the regular kiwi.
