reason why I shouldn't live in a city: two nice people were out doing the thing where they go out for political people. it's an actual word. Me and jade are registered voters and these people were collecting signatures for a dude to run for mayor

they rang the doorbell which got mara barking so I was irritated at that and I hate talking to people 

I just. 

I'm sure I looked unhappy also because I have resting bitch face and I don't like folks coming to the door

I feel bad for them because I said I wasn't going to sign since I hadn't heard of the person but they just gave me a flyer and a pen.

Ugh. I do not like when that happens.
We have signs on our door saying not to knock if it's anything to do with politics, religion or selling of anything other than chocolate *lol*. Yet it's hit or miss if they pay attention to the sign. We usually ignore if we know it's some one peddling information, but they can still take us by surprise when we are expecting some one and open the door to them instead. XD

I don't necessarily mind who does it, but I prefer to be able to hide and not answer the door which is actually harder when you have a dog in an apartment. If someone did it at a house, I could just let the dog bark, but in apartment, she just keeps going and I don't want her disturbing the neighbors more than necessary.

plus it's a complex so like, there's people all around. idek. no one generally comes by. just
