Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning

theme of this week: cleaning

There's about a million things to clean in the apartment and the mess is driving me nuts. 

So I'm going to spend this week cleaning, doing short bursts and getting shit out of the apartment. 

Priority 1: cleaning off the table. This needs to happen so I can get the grow lights set up. I need to set up my starting plan for the weird shit I've got, but spring is on it's way and also I can do some herbs and the ginger at any point. 

Priority 2: putting away my laundry. It's all piled partially on my bed and I hate that. I can never find the clean clothes I'm looking for. 

Priority 3: Getting all the books donated that are left. They're taking up so much space. 

I think I can get that done in two days maybe. I need to find some boxes for the books. 

Then priorities are the living room (vacuuming!), the living room table and then the kitchen. 

We'll see how this goes. 

Then cleaning the dog at some point, she needs a bath.

I have found having a bunch of bins (in an extruded cabinet ment for the garage) has been a big help with non-hangable laundry like socks. I can see everything, I can lift the individual bins out of the cabinet to organize them, and there's enough room, rather than the "can I get all eleven kinds of socks in there?" drawer bottom sturdiness issue.
