I'm still taking that online photo course from forever ago and I relearned about shutter speed and exposure and all that jazz, or I started to.

So my cell phone has an pro option setting where I can adjust all that stuff. I still don't know what some of it is but I was messing around with the shutter settings a bit on the farm.

I took this picture of the sap house boiling yesterday. It was around dusk and all I did was a shorter shutter speed. It looks really good and I was super pleased with how it turned out. The shutter speed was the only thing I changed, no editing.

I always take pictures of the mountain and they never turn out as impressive as they look. I did mess with the contrast on this one because it was all very grey on grey until I did that. But I was pleased with it. The fog was really cool. It's not quite what I'm looking for but definitely looks better in a larger picture which you can look at on my flickr.

I've been having fun with it. Plus the normal number of dog photos and stuff, which I'm going to post on instagram shortly.

Makes excellent sense.

The picture still came out well. :)

That picture really looks like the kind of thing that'd pop up on a farm life aesthetic tumblr. Especially with the light and the snow, it looks very cozy.
