 Walking the dog this morning was treacherous. 

The apartment complex didn't actually clear all the snow from the road/parking lot, they just got it to about an inch of packed snow. Well it rained and turned into a sheet of ice. 

This morning's walk we had to decide between incredibly slick ice, wet gross snow and not-ice pavement that had several inches of water. 

Fun. We did a short walk and then went back to the apartment. Ugh. 

Oh I think the local police are going to do drills in the parking lot behind their building. My window here overlooks it. A lot of times they do dog drills.

I wussed out and drove. It's four-inch-deep slush in the parking lot; I was not going to plumb the depths of the sidewalks.

Dog drills! That sounds kind of fun to watch!
