Side job slight shenanagins

I have a side job, which is doing spreadsheet work and writing llama grooming* plans for my previous employer. Basically I'm doing all the fun parts of that job without any of the stress. And I'm getting paid $30/hour to do it, remotely from my bedroom, on my own schedule. 

I left for PA (now there) and I checked my email at a light and noticed an email from old coworker asking me to work on a project. 

The day before a major holiday weekend, I mean come on. 

The funnier part is that I literally can't work on that stuff (I mean, if I tried hard enough I could but I don't want to) because the computer they gave me for the work lives in NY in the apartment. Oh well. I told them I was on vacation and could get it done on by the 30th since I'll be heading back to NY around the 27th or 28th. 

I doubt it will be an issue since they mostly take the whole week between Christmas and New Years off. 

*llama grooming comes from AskAManager where we use teapots or llamas as our "jobs" to disguise our industries. I love it.

(What about actual llama farmers on AskAManager?? Do they have to talk about teapots exclusively? OMG WHAT ABOUT TEA SHOP OWNERS. WHAT ABOUT COMBINATION LLAMA FARMERS AND TEA SHOP OWNERS. That must be so confusing for them.)

lmao I assume it's basically the same as sheep which I know a little about. The hardest part is probably keeping them clean.

Well the teapots are often teapot designers or teapot engineers so they often build the teapots. I doubt there's many llama groomers out there. I also realized I don't know why I called it that because I think I've talked about it on here before anyway.

And I am absolutely the master of constructing elaborate euphemisms for avoiding revealing the real name of things that I then realize I called by their real names and probably linked to directly like, three posts back. I do not have a Consistent Social Media Brand, let's just say.

I guess those teapot engineers are truly hidden because no one would expect an actual teapot engineer to say they're a teapot engineer.....

I'm trying to be a little more careful I guess, especially with all the shifting around and new people. on tumblr no one gave a shit who I was so I could pretty much post whatever I wanted. Ehh. Oh well.
