But I accidently made April the busiest month of the year.

So far April has been - a full week of hockey games, a four day work training, traveling for work one day this past weekend, and going to my parents this coming weekend for strawberry planting. And J called and asked if I could shear on Friday. And I have a in-person fiber meetup thursday night.

Sigh. Hopefully May will be less busy.

This past weekend wasn't bad, I drove up north friday night, did the event Saturday morning ,then drove home and got home around 5pm. Sunday I did literally nothing. So this week I'm planning to Get Shit Done, since I have very little work tasks with all three of the people I support being away at a retreat for three days.

Goals are: grocery shopping, baking (lots of things, A's chickens are producing like wild and they don't sell the eggs past two weeks labeled on the cartons, so she gave me 11 dozen eggs last night. I have Custard Plans), putting away laundry, cleaning the floors.

I seeded a bunch of things into trays last week and I've got heat mats under them and they're sprouting very well. I've got mostly flowers and dye plants with some vegetables. It's been below freezing the last three nights, so godspeed to the tree fruit farmers

I’m glad some of the packed was for fun, like the hockey week. Good luck with both the shearing and the strawberry planting.

Also, I feel this. My calendar for April was So Full. Thankfully, May is appearing to be a little less packed so far.
