March goals
Pullover made, I love it. It's light, it's stretchy, it's comfy. I want to make more at some point. Pattern is Jackson Pullover by Helen's Closet. Terrible picture!

This is the 4oz of top I spun and chain plyed, from Dirty Girl Yarns, it is Rambouillet top.

Cone winder fun! It was easy and fun to use, I wound my alpaca onto cones.

Tablet weaving, first one is the languishing project which was the whole alphabet in double weave plus some spirals and the word damn.

Next I wove a quick project for F, which I didn't take a picture of. I had some leftover warp, so I tried weaving these little pumpkins and they're both weird fucked up little guys. I sewed the ends over and I'm going to give them to my sister because she thought they were funny.

Washed fleeces - Border Leicester of various colors which will probably be weaving yarn of some sort, maybe for rugs. It's pretty coarse but pretty. Second fleece is brown alpaca for something. It's similar to the fleece I'm processing now. I also washed a bunch of felting scraps for F to use in crafts. Third fleece is drying on the table today, it's a Corriedale fleece that started at 13 pounds, I skirted it, ended up with 9 pounds, split it to test two different soaps because everyone recommends Unicorn Power Scour but it's $100 per gallon. I initially started with Orvus paste which is viewed as less effective but it's $25 per gallon. In my opinion, they both worked about the same, even if I use twice as much Orvus paste as power scour. It was also an experiment in washing 4lbs of higher lanolin fleece at one time. It was a cheap fleece, $26 because the tips have too much gunk in them to come out in the wash, so I'll need to flick them. But it's a pretty fleece and I've got the time to do the work. It's beautiful after flicking.

April Goals
This month is busy so idek what I'll get done.
- spin mohair, finishing it would be a stretch - spun! Didn't finish it but I'm one bobbin away from finishing. Also spun 4 oz of top and chain plyed it. started another top spin but it's not done yet
- finish mittens - finished them and then had to rip the second thumb back out since it was too tight, haven't finished it yet
- knit sweater - made progress, almost done with the back, broke two circular needles :/
- cone up alpaca - CONED, so much fun to use
- process the rest of the brown alpaca fleece? - worked on it, close to done
- sew pullover - sewn!
- tablet weaving - make a loom for this? - found my weaving notebook, finished the languishing project, did one small weaving project for a friend, started a larger more complicated one
- other - washed three fleeces, I'm trying to get them all washed so I have less raw fleeces sitting around forever.
