It's the little adventures
Sep. 9th, 2023 11:14 amYesterday I headed a bit north to buy a spinning wheel. It's a CPW and I saw it on the CPW forums via craigslist. It looked in decent condition and was only $90, so I figured why not! I drove up, met the sellers at their house and bought it. They were two old nice ladies who mostly seemed confused as to why I wanted the wheel. I explained but I dunno, they were a little odd. But not in a bad way. Just weird. (I did the safe thing and texted my housemate the address and when I would text her by but I was in and out in 10 minutes).
After that, I figured I would pick up dinner since I was going to drive past some good food places and it was friday night. I stopped and got rolled ice cream at a local place (nutella banana), played a bunch of Pokemon Go and ordered sushi from a place in the same plaza.
Sushi was pretty good and I got teriyaki chicken to eat tonight.
I really enjoy fun little adventures doing weird stuff with no deadline. It was fun! The wheel might not have a flyer that fits it but eh, it was $90 and at least I got it out of the hands of a non-spinner.

Yay food! Yay lack of deadlines, even more.
