I had a long day at work, doing both apple harvest and squash harvest for various trials. Nothing too exerting but still a good bit of movement. I was tired but I got home and was Determined to get the electrical done. And I ended up asking F to help me. Not with anything in particular but she helped feed the wire when it was difficult to pull through, she fetched things for me, made sarcastic commentary. All good things.

We fished the wire around and I'm not 100% pleased with where I ran it but that's the best I can do for now until we tear the basement gross crop ceiling all out and take the drywall out. Then I can go to town on all the wiring and move this run somewhere better since I left some loops of extra wire in good spots. I hooked my living room wire to the basement run wire while F found an old wire coat hanger and I fished the main wire into the breaker and hooked everything up (with the whole house off for safety). Flipped it all on and everything works! All the new outlets work and no breakers flipped! Woohoo!

My mouth is also have a great day. I didn't take any ibuprofen today since I felt very good. I zipped out the door early this morning and did forget to take my morning antibiotic but I've now got alarms set so I won't forget the rest of them. I can feel the tiniest bit of ache in my jaw right now but I was probably clenching my jaw while I did the electrical work so it is reasonable.

After work tomorrow, I'm going to do cleanup of all the things I left laying around that need to be tidied then I'm going to see if I have time to start installing the backing boards for the baseboard heater. Not sure I will because I need to pack as I'll be out of town this weekend for a very cool thing that I'm very excited about.
