You have a grasp of logistics and planning, and people with neither manage to do this. It could well be you'll be OK.

I think we'll be good, there are spreadsheets and to-do lists already made and both F and I are expert level organizers. I think she'll have the harder time actually, she has a lot of stuff to pack up including a piano and hasn't moved in 12 years or so.

There are two pieces of advice about pianos; one is get pros to move it (advice my younger self wishes to heartily endorse!) and two is to check the floor where it's going, not for strength (the house inspector has already done that! (or you should fire them into the sun)) but for level. Anything you can do about level is MUCH easier to do before the piano arrives by constructing it a little platform. (Uprights on caster that want to roll are No Fun.)

We are absolutely hiring professionals to move the piano lol, that's how she has it in the first place. But the level info is very helpful and I'm sure we'll get that figured soon enough.
