Moving on

We've heard nothing about the farmhouse so we are moving on for real. This is getting silly. I get that there's three layers of communication but this really doesn't bode well for future working with the seller. 

We're seeing four houses this afternoon which are all pretty promising.  Two are closer but smaller lots, two are further but have some decent acreage.

I'm going to stop through my storage unit after and find the box with my misc papers and find that last checkbook that I know I have. I'm hoping it's really in the box I think it is. I'm pretty sure it was in one of the last boxes I packed and it should be on the top of a pile. I'm bringing my headlamp because I dropped my phone the last time I was in there and it was extremely difficult to pick up.

May the chequebook be easy to find!

(I know roughly where mine is, which is not meaningful because the credit union has changed transit numbers since that time.)

Also yay, learning behaviour with the headlamp! That must have been insanely frustrating.

I found a checkbook, but not the one I was expecting to find. So I'm confused. I didn't find the next book in the sequence which may or may not exist, but I did find the generic one that the bank originally gave me when I first set up the account but only has 10 checks or so.

That checkbook was exactly in the box/folder I was expecting the other one to be in, so maybe I only got 125 when I ordered them. Like I ordered 100 and got some bonus ones? I don't remember, it was at least 12 years ago

I guess I won??? I have no idea. But I should have enough checks to last me until I order some more.
