Someday I will travel again....

 I've been wanting to go down to the MD Sheep and Wool festival. I was planning to do the trip in 2020 so I could see friends and get lots of sheepy things. Obviously that didn't happen. 

It is back on in person this year and I keep thinking maybe....

But I don't think it's going to be a good idea this year.

It would be for four days, train travel down to BWI and then rent a car to drive out to the fairgrounds. Mara would need to stay with someone, I would need to rent a hotel room. It is at the beginning of May when everything is busy. I'm literally trying to buy a house and if we managed to find something soon and the whole thing went well, it could land closing right around that weekend. 

Ugh. I want to go.

I'm sorry the logistics doesn't work out but think not travelling is the better plan even without the logistics just now.

Oh yeah, our numbers have dropped a lot but I'm still not going anywhere. Wishful thinking to be honest. It would be close to 1k for the weekend between hotel/car rental/dog care/etc so it's too much at this point.

I want to go, too. For me it's a straight shot down I-70, though. Less than two hours in car and no hotels required. Unfortunately, still not feeling travel or large groups. :(

Yeah, maybe next year. From what I heard about the NY Sheep and Wool in October, it was a lot less busy overall, I know a lot of people didn't make the trip like they used to. I don't think MD has announced the mask policy generally, although the classes are requiring both masks and vax.

I dunno. I want to go but it probably won't be like it was so it's probably better to just wait.
