Today is the last day of the ASL class. I've done well on the exams and things, I'm definitely learning sign quickly. We have our final exam tonight ,which is primarily about Deaf culture, which is fine. That's relevant to the class and language.
However, we have a four page essay due Sunday about a topic. I don't want to write an essay. Essays are boring and annoying. I'm going to spend Sunday writing something I don't want to instead of baking delicious treats since I'm busy most of tomorrow.
I'm also not super enjoying the homework aspect of it, I haven't done homework in 11 years and I don't like it. I don't remember minding it as a student, but all my time was devoted to being a student and I just can't make myself give a shit about homework now when I have more important things to do like spend time with my friends and family and do housework and make dinner. The optional homework to learn more sign was fine, but the stuff where I had to upload a thing, bleh
Mixed bag tbh. Maybe if I took a class not in a college setting I'd like it more.
