Busy but also restful weekend somehow

Me and Jade went out to dinner Friday night, trying a new place that had delicious delicious indian food. They specialized in southern indian food and they had idli, which are amazing and incredible rice thingies. So good. I tried a daal and it was good, if on the edge of too hot for me (made my eyes water. Jade says it wasn't hot at all. I'm just ultimate white person). And I also ordered a lentil vadu, which was a donut. I thought it was going to be a donut made with lentil flour. It was not. It was wheat presumably battered in lentil flour. I ate it anyway and it was savory and tasty and have been having many regrets since.
Yesterday morning, I took Mara to the dog park and then fiddled with the laser scarecrow for a little while. I thought it was fine that I was going to be a little later to the farmers market. Normally I leave at 20 of 9, because it opens at 9 and I like to be there then because it gets crazy busy. I arrived at 9:30 and went, huh that's weird, why is there a line to get into the parking garage? Well, as it turns out, there was a festival. I got parking on the roof and the market was bananas busy and the festival had live music going by 10.
