unicorndukeThis week has been kinda wild
early in the week, I had three meetings in the afternoons on mon, tues, wed for work. one was in person but outside, the other two were virtual. then thursday I dropped my truck off to have the brakes serviced. 112k miles and first brake work. pretty good. thank you stick shift and careful driving
friday, I saw two potential houses and like I said in another post, went to make an offer. looks like I was too late, it's currently pending and the realtor selling didn't call my realtor back about it. oh well. gotta keep looking.
today I drove to danbury for the CTW game. it was a ton of fun! fast game that went to OT. I ended up on camera with my whale pun sign which is super funny since I thought the cameras were on my side and was bobbing my head to the music, very unaware that I was on camera
I'm also extremely glad I got the brakes done because a huge thunderstorm rolled through while I was at the game and while it was done when I left, I had to hit the brakes really abruptly to not hit someone else. (they were in the intersection and their light went red but our light was still green and so I was going straight and they suddenly turned. it ended fine)
anyway, I'm relaxing tomorrow. just going to browse houses or something. I might try and finish warping my next weaving project, who knows.
