 I think my biggest gripe with DW as a platform is the difficulty of photo uploads. Like, I have to use a third party and link it and what a pain that is. At some point I started doing all my picture uploads to PF and copying everything over here so it would use pillowforts stuff 

and now I'm sad pillowfort is down so let me see if I can grab a photo using twitter


This is my current spinning project! I will post about it later but this is my first time working with (washed) fleece and carding it myself then spinning!

You don't have to use a third party; there's built-in photo hosting. (Although admittedly awkward built-in photo hosting.)

That looks to be right on the border between thread and yarn; most impressive!

huh, I literally never knew that was there!

The yarn is a lot of fun to spin and so different than all the others because of how it's prepared before spinning. Neat stuff.

I don't understand why it's so shiny, everyone says woolen spinning isn't shiny. IT'S SO SHINY AND I LOVE IT

Pretty ply! How thin is it?

Hmm, pretty thin, on it's own I'd probably put it at close to lace weight but I'm planning to do a 3 ply so it'll come out to maybe sport weight or DK weight. It's really interesting and I want to do a comparison to some Shetland I've spun from commercially prepared fiber.
