unicorndukeI'm watching four hockey games this weekend, three of them live.
One was last night, at local university. It was pretty bad hockey but kinda fun anyway. Second game this afternoon at the uni at 3. Then watching the BUF-BOS game on the interwebz at 6:30 and tomorrow, I'm driving down to Danbury, CT for the BUF-CTW game, the first pro game I'm seeing this year! The drive is a little bit, 2 1/4 hours but there's absolutely no traffic, which makes it a feasible drive. I went down to Newark last year and while the drive said 2 3/4, it ended up being 3 or more depending on traffic.
I took the dog to the park this morning, right before sunrise and I bundled up. Mara enjoyed it. Then I hit up the farmers market, michaels for sign supplies and target for a spice grinder. I talked to A Farm folks about helping with turkey processing next weekend and they said Sunday would be a better day to help. I might make a blueberry pie since I'll have time next saturday. Spice grinder is for cardamom because Jade said the blueberry cardamom pie thingy tasted really good so I'll probably make it again but with an actual crust.
I'm making a sign for the CTW game tomorrow, cheering them on. It's going to say "Where there's a whale, there's a way" except with a whale drawn in. I'll need to come up with another whale pun for the next game I go to.
I still need to do laundry today but I'll probably leave that for later tonight. I finished the spinning needed for Jade's christmas present and I've suddenly started second guessing myself on it. I'm sure she'll like the colors but I'll probably grab something else in case she doesn't really wear them.
