 I went to a crochet/knit/whatever meetup again last night. It was good! It's kinda nice to sit around and chat a little and work in silence a little. There's a decent age range that come. 

I usually leave by 7:30 or so, which is earlier than most people but oh well, I needed to grab groceries. Got home and remembered that I wanted to make hand warmers so I grabbed the nearest fabric and made some squares, sewed them up and filled them with rice. 

It was 15 with 1 degree windchill here this morning (F). So I was very glad for the handwarmers, 40 seconds in the microwave lasted almost the entire 45 minute walk. I'm pleased with them. 

Mara is thrilled with the snow. She's been rolling and rolling and rolling in it.

HANDWARMERS are such a good idea, i wonder if i made some for my brother-in-law if he'd take them with him during winter chores.

I did some quick googling and the ones I saw were ~nice~ but I just went with plain fabric since it was close and I knew where it was and hand stiched them real quick. It was good for me since I could keep them in my coat pockets for when I put my hands in my pockets. I also wanted reusable ones since it seems wasteful to do the one-use hand warmers when I'm only out there for 45 mins or an hour and twice a day.
