 my boss just texted me that he suddenly can't make a two day meeting in Rhode Island and did I want to go in his place? I would leave.....tonight or tomorrow morning

Yeah, and he did understand! His wife got jury duty suddenly and his in-law backup is dealing with some heart troubles so he's on kid duty and can't leave. So I understand and he understands....I don't know if my dog sitter is available on such short notice but I literally just booked a sitting for a conference in december...

plus I just got back from PA literally last night and I don't plan to make any overnights for a while. I think I'd be up for it more if I didn't just travel a bunch and drive many hours last week.
