Our oven stopped working

just kidding. The stove top still works, and we can use our microwave, just no baking things.
I can still make ice cream :)
But between Jade and I, we can't be around for maintenance until Tuesday. We try to be there to corral Mara, because she will either bark or hide from them but the maintenance guy knows we have her, so I don't think he'd come inside if we weren't home. So I'll work from home Tuesday so they can come by. I'd love if we got a new stove but I doubt that will happen.
By the way, we're staying in our current apartment. Nothing moved fast enough that we could give notice in time that is required in our lease (not giving notice would forfit our security deposit.) We haven't figured out if we'll do a year or six months but that's the main reason I gave in for the AC. We aren't getting a new place, so I might as well make things comfortable.
It's such a good AC unit.
But anyway. No baking means I'll have slightly more time this weekend, so I'll be cleaning which needed to be done.
