Date: 2019-02-07 02:25 am (UTC)re: dizziness after treadmills-- I was told during roller derby never ever ever ever to do intensive cardio and then stop. you always have to cut your intensity down half, then half, then half, for several minutes, and then keep walking/gliding for a while afterward, until you are no longer out of breath. stopping quickly means blood can pool and you might pass out, and will likely feel dizzy. you have to keep moving. i don't know if that's a factor but i personally, on the very rare occasions i've used treadmills, have had dreadful difficulty in stepping my activity level down in any meaningful way and not just stopping cold.
I also just... am not coordinated enough to use them. i panicked the entire time i was on one. i don't do well with exercise machines.
