Winter bud hardiness! I have to harvest canes and ship them to someone so they can see how alive they are and how well they've survived winter so far, especially with the extreme cold we've had. I guess. I'm not certain on the specifics so I just shove a bunch of canes in a tube and send them away.

it's like 3 feet long. I was surprised they had one so long in stock at staples
