Date: 2025-03-18 10:53 am (UTC)We have four blueberry bushes against the fence around the collanade apple trees by the barn. They are in part shade so don’t bear much, but they are pretty enough. Ok, part shade and they got mowed by the goats a few years ago. Regardless, they threw up enormous cane-type branches which I cut down to halfway this year.
The other blueberries are tiny round bushes closer to the house by the peach trees. Two have pink berries and two are regular blue. They are not very big yet, and they are crammed into cages that are likely too short for them this year. I have been remiss in taking those cages off and thinning the bushes so that the centers get light.
I have all kinds of questions, but until/unless I’m willing to act on the information, I probably shouldn’t waste your time. :)
