Hurrah for the Mara-ramp.
Traditional fix for traction is to mix sand in some heavy floor paint and slather it on. Generally about 4:1, paint to sand; quite possibly as effective to put the coat of paint down and fling sand on it while it's wet. Short-term would be to staple some sandpaper on it.
