It is a mystery

The tractor sounds fun! I have two cub cadet "estate size" tractors (one with nearly-permanent small backhoe, one without) but they're more modern and I don't do farm things with them so much as bucket loader/brush hog/log dragging/ditch digging and like that. They're both diesel.

I don't have steering wheel issues but sometimes when I'm putting holes in doors for doorknobs or holes in floors/cupboards for drain pipes, the hole saw on the power screwdriver will gink and then my wrist (of course it's the one I broke) yells at me for a week. Take it easy and I hope your wrist feels better soon.
