It is a mystery

Our basement is very oddly laid out right now especially since half is the finished apartment that needs to be ripped out. The unfinished half also has an L shape sticking out from the wall where they put in electrical for appliances, but it's really just in the way. The stairs and the heater/boiler are also in the way as is the old furnace it replaced plus a little room I think they meant as a root cellar. Plus the cabinet they left behind. So the only open spot is the workbench, hence the hopefully reorganizing to have some actual work space. Although, right now, I don't necessarily want to have the basement as a workshop since the only place to work is directly under my bedroom and I know the power tools freak Mara out.

Really we need to get ripping the basement apartment out and getting that fixed up and once that's out, we can pull out some of the junk in the unfinished basement. Lots of projects that will get done....someday.
