It is a mystery

I'm up the hill a bit from the swamp in those photos, so not as much damage to trees and such. There was a bunch of logging on the property in the 40-50 years ago range which much have removed most of the older trees. There's some three foot diameter stumps around from that logging event that are mostly rotted away. But yes, definitely post-glacial landscape! One of the springs made a nice little gorge that comes down from the neighbors property, which is pretty although I forgot to take a good picture of it on this wander.
