I went to my parents this weekend, it was nice. I helped prepare fields for pumpkin planting and laid plastic beds. The drive down was terrible, small pouring rainstorms covered the whole area but only put down a tenth of an inch of rain. Tonight and Wed night look promising for some actual accumulation, looking at a half inch each. Fingers crossed we get it. Drive back was easy.

I didn't end up applying for the job I was planning to, I'm suspending the job search for now, there's just too much going on and I'm too tired to deal with job searching right now. I found out that my sidejob work may increase dramatically in the next year or so. I have to maintain certification by the state to write the plans, and the state is planning to end the state funded certifiers who write plans and only have private industry or the farmers write those plans. Given I write those plans for a private company for only some of their clients, my guess is a whole bunch more of their clients will need those plans written. Yay money.

I'm just about finished with my crochet mittens, just need to weave in the ends, which I'll do tonight at crafting. I keep meaning to write my monthly goals since I'm three months behind but such as life. I'm also cutting my current weaving project off the loom, I'm getting too much warp breaking, which is fine since it was an experiment and I learning a bunch
