It was a nice and relaxing weekend, if very chilly. All our snow is long gone, so there's no insulation from it and we had 20F temps with another 10-15 degree windchill. No fun to be outside in that.

I baked bread stuffed with kielbasa since the kielbasa needed to get used up and I wanted something easy to make. I also made socca, chickpea flatbread which I've made before and frozen and they are delicious reheated in the toaster oven with some cheese or meats on them.

Saturday, I spent an hour or so doing some basic cleanup work with the shed stuff, all the items living under the balcony that used to be in the shed. Some things got sorted to the trash, some got put in the shed, I hammered some nails out of a lovely 11 foot 2x6 that was rough cut when it was put into the shed as a shelf but is now dry and very nice. So that can be used for a future project. Watched some hockey too.

Sunday, I went and did some work in the woods along the swamp road. Nothing major, I took lopers and a handsaw and removed some small trees that had fallen into the road, some small trees growing in the middle of the road, things like that. It was a nice time. I've got more to do but the bigger trees will need a chainsaw. I also want to start working along the ridge road, same thing, removing small trees and things.

I started warping on my next weaving project, doing four pattern repeats at a time which is now taking about 45 minutes total since there is a decent amount of tying off for the color changes. Also started plying the big Romney project and a new spinning project.

Back to work today.
