Life is chaos (minor chaos ish)

Monday was normal. I made the first pumpkin pies of the season and they were delicious.
Tuesday I drove out to my coworkers farm so we could get some stuff done. It's about an hour away and I take the highway for most of that drive, going 70mph. I stopped to get ice cream on my way home, and took a slightly different route. As I was about to get onto the highway, my coworker texts me that my truck dumped oil all over the place and I needed to stop immediately. I pulled off at the nearest gas station. Had to triage and eventually figured out it would be better to take my truck to the nearest toyota dealer (20 mins back towards my coworker's place) than my mechanic (45 mins home) because my coworker could lend me her fleet vehicle. I put a quart of oil into the truck and drove back. Dropped truck off. ( Read more... )I just got home a few minutes ago and am currently setting up my new phone! I got a Unihertz Atom L to replace the poor giant flat phone that is already very cracked and I think it may survive my everything.
