(no subject)

 The weather bleh

Extremely windy but not super cold despite the wind. It did drop below freezing even though it was raining last night when I walked Mara. So anything that was wet yesterday is now ice. And then it snowed a half inch of snow on top

Both me and the dog nearly wiped out a lot on the walk. Most of the sidewalks were ice and the parking lot is ice. Any snow piles that were in direct sunlight yesterday are now ice. 

so it was a joy.

I'm going to work in a few minutes. Work should be pretty easy today.

This evening I'm going to be making a vindaloo recipe from my venison book and then doing sidejob work. Tomorrow will be laundry and working out/stretching and wed is skating!

actually I'm looking at the recipe now and I'd better go get the marinade made and put on the meat

(no subject)

 in a truly exciting turn of events, my truck decided to lose its shit this morning. 

It was fine until I was idling at the train crossing in town and it just randomly decided to rev really high and not accelerate much. I managed to get it home but my garage doesn't have an opening until tomorrow so I just need to figure out when to get it up there. 

So I'm working from home today and possibly tomorrow! Not what my plan was!
