I sell gluten-free baked goods at a local farmers market that is year round. I've been doing it for about two months now and I'm finally recognizing some regulars. And like anything, there are some delightful regulars and some very very strange ones. Especially since the market I go to is on Kent Island, which is a bedroom community for the cities on the Western Shore, Annapolis, DC and Baltimore. (I'm not sure WHY people commute to DC or Baltimore every day except for $$$$$$ because KI people have a ton of money)

There's a guy who samples everything but buys like one thing from one vendor. Some folks who spend well over an hour at the market, which is only three hours long total. But I at least recognize them week to week now and I've met some great people.

I also saw a dude in a fedora today.

Which I honestly didn't think was a thing that happened in real life
