I talked to a realtor yesterday and sent her some of the places I'd like to see this morning. I know I'll need to do some pushing on finding places because the area of possibility is so large.

It's very nerve wracking but I'm kinda excited.

Yeah, I'll see on the inspector, I may get someone through the housing counseler rather than the bank or the realtor. Honestly, these first three places I asked to see are slightly too far east unless they are amazing, to help train my brain a bit and see how the realtor acts. I am dragging her all over the place lol

I haven't heard from her wince Wednesday so I'm going to poke her again. I sent her two listings that I hadn't realized were under contract and want to give her some better ones. But I'm not actually happy that I haven't hear from her about showings.

It's not unlikely that you're a low priority relative to "this might close tomorrow" stuff, but some communication is to be expected, yeah.

If they're not doing what you want, you can fire this one and find another one. (Which is even more stress, but it's an option.)

Hope they start being more communicative.

there's priorities and then there's not responding at all for days. I'll give her until mid next week to say anything and then I'll find a new agent. I sent her a text yesterday asking her to give me a call when she gets a chance, just so I can check and make sure she still wants to be my agent and is willing to make the drive to various places.

I could always search without an agent but I would like to have the expertise of the process of buying. which I could get from talking to the housing counselor person.
