I've never tried quinoa, but I think the heat plus day length issues is why it might not grow well here. I've heard there are varieties that aren't day length sensitive but most seed sellers don't specify so I don't want to waste money on it.

I had some transplants die due to my own nonsense so I'm going to see if I can restart them and get them out there at some point. Maybe I just delay planting some things so they flower at different times, although I've got three corn plantings doing that hopefully and sorghum is so long season that I would worry about it maturing in time. Gotta think about it.
