 Apparently all college campuses use the same wifi? I went to Ithaca and hopped on their wifi and now I can get local colleges wifi. Weird.

Are you using the eduroam hotspot? I've seen that one at our campus and I think it's a global roaming WiFi for campuses.

yep that's the one! I've never heard of it before and I don't think Penn State had it while I was there. But that was five years ago now so they might have changed things.

But I like it because it's in the hockey rink so I can post to instagram and watch videos and not drop service in the middle.

I can't remember when it came in here... sometime in the last ten years, because I remember it appearing, and it was around for a while before I actually found out what it was. It really is handy because it means once you have an account, no matter what school you're at, you're online. And WiFi should be more stable than otherwise!
